First Cross Lilium Species Seed
The following Hybrid Seed lots have TRUE Species Liliums as both Pod and Pollen Parents. To obtain the full benefits of such crosses, one needs to inter-cross the best seedlings that result with each other. By doing this there will be far more variety of traits in the second generation than visible in the parents. All the modern lily hybrids found today are the results of such crosses in their ancestry.

When the offspring of these crosses are used to breed with other lilies of the same Horticultural Division, you will introduce such traits as increased virus tolerance and vigour. Such offspring when crossed with commercial lily clones, as a rule will produce garden worthy plants with improved inferences.
